Folks by now know that I have taken great care in studying the Jack the Ripper case, and the historical aspects. It’s part of a character I write for and cosplay as. It’s best to know all that you can about the actual facts.
By now, you should also realize…I pushed for November 9th as a release date, as that is when the finale of the Ripper arc takes place. November 9th was the day that Mary Kelly, the last of the Canonical 5 victims, was killed by “Jack”. I have honored her memory in “Red Moon…” by tolling 10 tones from Big Ben in the beginning of the audio.
Mary was found after 10am by her landlord coming for her rent. She was the youngest of the Ripper victims, only 25 when she died. She was also the most mutilated. (Yana-sensei did her research.)
This video ([link]) has the song that we feature in “Red Moon…” Mary was heard singing it on the night she was killed. Shikkachi did a great job in singing it and representing the character. There is another video of a clearer version of the song, but it features some pretty graphic images of Mary when she was found. This one is more tame and is a video of her actual grave in Leyton.
RIP Mary.
